Roccamena (Palermo Province) is 60 km. from Palermo, alt. 480 m., on the watershed between the Right and the Left Rivers Belice, on the southern slopes of Monte Rocca del Signore, area 33.3 sq. km., pop. over 2,100, post-code 90040, tel. 091. Agricultural economy.

A feudel town belonging to the Beccadelli family of the Marquises of Salaparuta, it achieved autonomy as a comune in 1846.

The name Roccamena ("pleasant rock") is an invitation to visit the town and enjoy the beautiful views.
