The POW Camps in Maryland during World War II included:

Camp Ritchie, Cascade, MD, now Fort Ritchie
Camp Somerset, Westover, MD 21871 (Branch Camp)
Chemical Warfare Center, Edgewood Arsenal, Gunpowder, MD 21010 (Base Camp)
Flintstone, MD (branch camp under Front Royal Remount Depot, VA)
Fort George C. Meade, MD 20755
Holabird Signal Depot, Baltimore, MD

POWs were buried at Fort George G. Meade Post Cemetery.
