The POW Camps in Alabama during World War II included:

Camp Aliceville, Aliceville, Alabama 35442 (base camp)
Camp Rucker, AL 36362, now Fort Rucker
Camp Sibert, Gadsden, AL
Fort McClellan, AL 36205, now state land
Camp Opelika, Opelika, AL 36801
Northington General Hospital, Tuscalooosa, Alabama
Tuscaloosa, AL (branch camp under Camp Aliceville, AL)

POWs are buried at Fort McClellan.
