Antillo (ME)
Antillo (Messina Province) is a hill town (480 m) 49 km from Messina. It is in the Peloritani, in the Montagna Grande area. It has a population of over 1,000 in an area of 43.4 sq km. The postal code is 98030 and the telephone prefix is 0942. It has an agricultural economy (walnuts, hazelnuts, chestnuts, olives, mushrooms, and grapes).
This town was a ward of Savoca until 1846 when it became an autonomous community.
