Ali' (Messina Province) is 33 km from Messina, alt. 450 m, in the southeastern Peloritani Mountains, in the southern foothills of Monte Scuderi, in the Valley of the River Ali, area 16.7 sq km, pop. 1,042, post-code 98020, tel. 0942. Agricultural economy: citrus fruits, olives, vegetables, grapes, chestnuts.
Probably of Arab origin, the town was given in 1093 by Roger, Count of Sicily, to the Monastery of Saints Peter and Paul.
